The Silber lab was founded in 2021 and focuses on the use of corpus linguistics* to explore interesting research questions. So far, the lab has conducted research relating to ruptures and repairs in the counseling relationship, threat assessment, autism, and rehabilitation counseling. Dr. Justin Jacques has a Ph.D. in Counseling from Oregon State University and Dr. Silber has a Ed.D. in Math Education from Rutgers University. Please feel free to contact us if you have any interest in research collaboration.
